Joe's Seafood and Prime Steak

Bone-in New York Strip
Green Beans - probably the best I ever ate
Mac n Cheese - definitely top 10 and maybe top 5

Matilda

After dinner, I had a night cap at the bar at The Hyatt.

The trifecta - buffalo chicken, prime rib, and pork shoulder.

The Many Sides of Marilyn

Meatrakes

I plan to try the Meatrakes this weekend to pull some pork shoulder.

Smok'n Spice

Here is the next trend in the BBQ industry - Smok'n Spice.  Pellets made out of 100% herbs.  There are 3 flavors right now - Oregano, Sage, and Mediterranean Blend.  I can't wait to give these a try this weekend.  I purchased the RSI (Reusable Smoke Infuser) to smoke them.  There are 2 other disposable products that can be purchased too.

The unit is to be used as a cold smoker which means you lite it on a grill that is turned off.  You let your food get the smoke flavor infused into it, remove the RSI, and then lite your grill to cook/smoke the food.  I believe I am going to try a pizza with the oregano pellets first.

The RSI Kit with 1/2 lb of each of the 3 current flavors.

One pound refill kits.

Hard Rock Cafe - Boston

Before we shipped out of Boston, we hit the Hard Rock Cafe and the Warf.   I had passed by the Hard Rock on St Pat's Day on my way back to the hotel from the Bruins v Flyers game.  Little did I know that Wendy had stopped there for lunch to start off her day.   Little did she know that was the first stop of the official Boston St Pat's Pub Crawl :).

Go figure that there was a Dropkick item!!

That Cobain guy thought he was Townsend.

The Texan pork shoulder sandwich with tobacco onion rings and jalapenos.  Yum!

Shipping Up to Boston

We had a great visit, but I wish it lasted longer.  I did not get a chance to do too much site seeing with all of the punk rock shows and sporting events that I attended.  Here are a few pics of the Financial District, and the Irish bars that many frequented on St Pat's Day.
